New to American Mah Jongg? Start here. Mahj 101 is our beginner American Mah Jongg class, introducing the tiles, terminology, National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card, Charleston, basic rules, and flow of play through welcoming instruction and guided practice.
No experience is needed. Mahj 101 is designed for brand-new players and anyone who would like a comfortable refresher on the basics.

Our August Mahj 101 class at Blend of Seven Winery brought new players together for an afternoon of learning, laughter, and connection around the table.
