LV Travel Co. is bringing The Poppy Pair to Ripley for a special Friday evening around the mah jongg table.
Join us for a welcoming, hands-on Mahj 101 designed especially for brand-new players. We’ll walk through the game together — from getting to know the tiles and learning to read the National Mah Jongg League card to the Charleston, building a hand, and understanding the flow of play.
No previous Mah Jongg experience is needed. Just come ready to learn, ask questions, and enjoy a little small-town charm with plenty of Mahj energy.
Make a Mahj weekend of it!
Start with Mahj 101 on Friday evening, come back Saturday morning for Mahj 102, and then gather around the tables again for our Saturday afternoon Mah Jongg Tournament.
Want to join us for the tournament, too? Register for Mahj 101 and the Tournament together in the same transaction and you’ll save $5 on your Tournament seat. Your savings will appear at checkout once both are included in your order.
Bringing your people?
You may reserve multiple seats in one transaction, making it easy to gather your friends and get everyone signed up together.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the table in Ripley!
